The game

Bake Off Fantasy is free to play. You predict outcomes each week, join or create leagues, and earn points based on how the season actually plays out. We try to keep scoring fair and consistent, but the game (leagues, boosts, scoring rules, and features) may change between and during seasons.

Your account

• You must be 13 or older to register.
• You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for anything done through your account.
• Provide accurate registration details, and keep your email address up to date.
• One account per person. Don't create accounts to manipulate leagues or leaderboards.

Acceptable use

Don't use the site to:

• Harass, abuse, or impersonate other players.
• Post offensive, illegal, or infringing content (league names, feedback, profile customisation, etc.).
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the site.

We can remove content, suspend, or delete accounts that break these rules.

Content and ownership

The Bake Off Fantasy name, design, and code belong to us. You keep ownership of anything you post, such as league names, feedback, and profile customisation, but by posting it you give us permission to display and use it as part of running the site. Please don't use our name or branding to imply you're endorsed by or affiliated with us without asking first.

Supporting the site

Supporting the site is entirely optional and has no effect on gameplay. Predictions, leagues, boosts, and points work the same whether you support it or not. Supporter purchases unlock cosmetic extras and stats features.

Payments are processed by Stripe, in GBP. Supporter purchases unlock their features immediately, and are non-refundable. By completing a purchase, you confirm you want immediate access to that digital content and you accept that you lose the standard 14-day right to cancel that would otherwise apply under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, since access is granted straight away. If you believe a payment was made in error, contact [email protected] and we'll look into it.

Availability

Bake Off Fantasy is provided "as is", run as a hobby project, without guarantees of uptime or availability. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site (including outside of a Bake Off season) at any time.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Where we are liable, our liability is limited to the amount (if any) you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or delete accounts that breach these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the update.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Scots law, and the Scottish courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
